The transcript is the official school document that records academic information for each student. General demographic information included on the transcript includes student and parent names, home address, phone number, student’s date of birth and gender, and the date prepared. The graduation date is posted only on the final transcripts.
Academic information included on the transcript consists of courses taken with CP/H/AP/DE designation, grades, credits earned, the annual weighted and unweighted grade point average, and the cumulative weighted and unweighted grade point average.
SCS has a strong academic program and relatively small classes. It is our belief that reporting students’ class rank would be statistically inaccurate, so it is not published on the transcript until graduation.
Courses taken at schools other than SCS are listed on the transcript, with the school of origin included. Grades for those courses are included in the student’s GPA, as outlined in the SC Uniform Grading Scale.
The SCS transcript does not include extracurricular activities or SAT/ACT test scores. Students should arrange to have their test scores sent directly to the admissions office of the college to which they are applying.
Current students, graduates, and former students should submit transcript requests through Parchment
here. If you have any questions, please contact the Guidance Office at 864-234-7575, ext. 1337.
