At Southside Christian School, Christ is the center of all we do. Our priority is for students to experience and know the love of Jesus and the gospel. Our desire is for them to see the world through a biblical lens.
Students over age three participate in weekly chapel services designed to engage them in worship and give them a foundation in scripture that will serve them their entire lives.
The Southside Christian School community is like a family. We believe that discipleship happens in everyday life – in the hallways, classroom, small groups, clubs, practices for performances, and on the field. Faculty and staff are intentionally investing in the lives of students, challenging and encouraging them to grow in Christ in all areas of life.
At the beginning of the school year, freshman, sophomores, juniors, and seniors participate in their own respective retreats. These off-campus experiences provide a unique opportunity for each grade to connect with one another and powerful times of prayer, worship, testimony, and reorientation around the way of Jesus.
