Thank you for visiting our website! Southside Christian School is a mission-driven school with a clear focus and goal to equip students of Christian parents to grow in Christ, excel academically, and impact their community. We fulfill this mission through a comprehensive and rigorous college preparatory curriculum with more than 48 Dual Enrollment, Honors, and AP courses, experiential learning opportunities, competitive athletics for over 34 teams in the SCHSL, and an award-winning fine arts program.

It is so exciting to see God do His transformative work in the hearts, minds, and lives of our students. Our History

Founded in 1967, SCS serves 1,400 students from ages 2 through 12th grade across a 40-acre campus in Simpsonville, South Carolina. The school opened its doors with 43 students and 3 teachers and grew to a stable enrollment of one thousand students. In recent years, enrollment has boomed to 1,400 as the city of Greenville has rapidly grown and the school has consistently demonstrated a clear vision of excellence in Christian Education. SCS is consistently ranked among the top private schools in South Carolina. We received an exemplary accreditation from the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) in 2019, and again in 2024. Accreditation from the Council on Educational Standards and Accountability (CESA) was also received in 2024. SCS currently receives an Overall A with high marks in academics, college preparation, facilities, and extracurricular activities from Niche.
