Alumni Discount
Southside Christian School values its alumni. SCS graduates are eligible for a 10% alumni discount - 15% for two married SCS alumni - applicable to each child enrolled.
Family Discount
For a family with more than one child enrolled, discounts are given as follows: 5% off tuition for the second student, 7.5% off tuition for the third student, 10% off tuition for the 4th student and all additional siblings.
Referral Credit
A $250 referral credit is available to SCS families. For each new family who enrolls a full-time student and indicates your name as the referral on their application, your family will receive a $250 tuition credit on your school account in October. If the new family enrolls more than one student, additional credits will apply.

Did you know South Carolina offers a scholarship program that can help families pay for private school?
The South Carolina Education Scholarship Trust Fund Program (ESTF) program is available to students in kindergarten through 12th grade and allows families to apply scholarship funds toward a variety of educational needs. Approved uses include private school tuition, tutoring, educational therapies, and other academic services that support a child’s individual learning journey. The program recently expanded to include households earning up to 500% of the federal poverty level. Click here to see if you are eligible.
Please note that all families who plan to apply for SCS Tuition Assistance must first apply for ESTF funds.

How do I apply for tuition assistance?
SCS tuition assistance awards require families to have also applied for ESTF funding. Applicants can apply for tuition assistance at any point in the admissions process.

Are students in all grade levels eligible for tuition assistance?
Families with students in Grades Kindergarten - 12 are eligible to apply for tuition assistance. Under certain circumstances, an award may be issued for a Pre-K 5 student. -
Could applying for tuition assistance lessen the chances of my child being accepted to SCS?
No. Enrollment applications and tuition assistance applications are reviewed separately. While we are not always able to meet a family's financial need, applying for assistance has no negative bearing on an applicant's admissibility. -
Is there a cap on available funds?
Yes, ESTF has a limited number of scholarships available. SCS applications will continue to be considered as long as funds are available. -
How does SCS determine if a family is eligible for tuition assistance?
Southside Christian partners with Blackbaud Financial Aid Management, a third-party financial processor of tuition assistance applications for private schools and small colleges across the country. Award calculations consider numerous factors that make up a family's overall financial picture. SCS tuition assistance awards require families to have also applied for ESTF funding.
