Academics

High School

During the high school experience (grades 9-12), students are provided with a well-rounded college preparatory education rooted in a biblical worldview. Students have many opportunities to take advanced coursework, including honors, AP, and dual-enrollment, each led by accomplished faculty. Students attend either chapel or small groups every week, allowing them to concentrate on their spiritual growth. Students have opportunities to participate in athletic activities, fine arts, active student clubs, and student leadership roles. The school’s commitment –– whether focused on academic pursuits, spiritual formation, or extracurricular participation –– is ultimately grounded in a desire to develop young men and women of God who are prepared to positively impact the world around them.

Our portrait of a graduate includes students who are prepared academically, growing spiritually, able to speak articulately, possess leadership abilities, and have a humble attitude ready to learn more in the next season of life.
School hours are from 8:05 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. Early stay is available at 7:30 a.m.

Jeff and Sandi Summers, School Parents

We are so glad to have partnered with SCS for all four of our children. The biblically sound, Christian education they have received has been wonderful, and the safe environment in which they have learned has been unmatched. To be surrounded by loving teachers and faculty and be amongst good peer groups has been a great compliment to our parenting. We have such peace and confidence not only in their education, but also in their preparation for college and beyond.
